i love being trans. i love taking control of this body and living the way we want. there is nothing more we want in life than for others to feel the same, trans or not. i want everyone to feel this control in their destiny. for us before transitioning it was ... no control. no way to direct how the body looked. external things happened to it, and we had no part. we just let it happen.

<deadname> couldn't even look in a mirror without tears. but they did not know why ... they just felt more horrible than anything. at some point they figured it out. and 4 years later, the resolution. or rather, the beginning. <deadname> became someone else on may 29 2019, over 5 years ago now at time of writing. somehow it feels like no time has passed at all. but i still love being trans. and i love trans people too. we're all so beautiful, across the entire spectrum of gender identity and expression.

don't fucking let them take it from you. reclaim it. take it the fuck back. fight tooth and nail and claw to get what is yours. we're all beautiful disasters and deserve love and care and safety. i love you. may luna shine her beautiful light upon us all.
